Chapter 1 - The Escape Part 2

 "What is the world is..." exclaimed NZN in his burly voice before he was cut off by Prince Jua. "He is an android," said Prince Jua calmly.  "He is an, an...who?" NZN exclaimed again as the ship rocked back and forth and then stopping with a thud. The sound of the closing door of the supercarrier creaked as it closed the open space to space in this side docking port. ABC clicked, "There is no escape." Prince Jau, "Yes there is, but it will not be for me. Prince Jau continued", "You must get this android to the surface of the Desert Horizon Transport Platform".  NZN look at Prince Jau as he had a Novillian Shrimp coming out of his nose.  Prince Jau whispered, "Follow me". NZN signed, "Another unfortunate adventure". ABC bleated, "Shut up." NZN snapped a response, "How dare you speak to me in that manner." The four went from the storage room and back through the engine room which was now empty.   The android did not speak and shuffled instead of walk. They proceeded to the escape pods, which were not ejected during the entrance into the gravity well and now into the belly of the supercarrier. Prince Jau, "Get in." he said. He continued, "NZN your mission is to make sure that ABC  and this android are safe. ABC you have the holo-message. Goodbye. Prince Jua said sadly. " NZN said to Prince Jau, "I hope that all goes well and that we will see you again". Prince Jau replied, "That is my hope also. I will going to the bridge and give you a chance to get out and through that blast door" With that said he was going. He was running through the maze of the ship and passing the halls where the men and women soldiers of the Oases transport platform Paradiso ya Oasis (Oasis Paradise).  

Paradiso ya Oasis of the 250,000 mapped TPs was one of the most spectacular. It was very technologically advanced. The internal affairs of the TPs were run by an elected represented government. The external affairs were under the governance purview of the House of Mombasa Gede and it has been for almost 2,000 years. It was definitely an oasis in the Dark Galaxy. The super city-state had living space on the top, center, and bottom of TPs. Again, the dimension of an Oasis TP was the transportation portal that was circular and 2000 miles across. The trench that was 10 miles all around that 100 miles across the disc of blue gelatinous material and then from that center another 990 miles. Therefore, each TP was 2000 miles across and 100 miles thick. Paradiso ya Oasis had designed a spherical shield that allowed for an atmosphere to develop on both the top and bottom of the TP. Close to 200,000,000 dark-skinned human beings enjoy the luxuries of peace. It resided within a solar system of 12 mineral rich planets and one star. Like most TP's is had it own path around the sun. Luckily it was the what scientist would call the region around a star that life could be found.

When the Dark Galaxy empire rose at the beginning of the evil reign of the Mansa Nzuri (King Magnificence) and the Candance Umaridadi, (Queen Elegance) the husband and wife team of evil this region of the universe truly became a very dark place, Mansa and Candance ruled from the only planet that could be occupied by a human in this vast space that encompassed of over 10,000,000 stars. This planet was very unique in that it was the only known planet that was like Oases, the possible home planet, scientists of this Dark Galaxy thought. It had a circumference of 24,000 miles and a 24 day and night. Yet, the scientist of the day has been trying to figure out how such a planet could be and could be a lone planet around a lone sun. The transport portal was actually built on the poles of this planet. What made this planet unique was the thousand of caverns which made it easy to build artificial living structures within it. The surface of the planet was bare rock with no atmosphere. Water had to be brought in and there were water ports on the surface of the planet. The water hunters would look for the huge Kupher Belt for ice planets to harvest. Luckily, this ice and rock field was so large that with their harvesting and such a rate it would take almost 12,600 years before there was no more ice to hunt. There were also several thousand sentinel posts on the surface ensuring that any starship that enters this floating ball could be detected as they enter the many cavern. As starships enter they where usually guided by a tractor beam to a given space port. The lights and beacons that greeted the star ship travelers we stunning and many around the galaxy, if they could afford to, made a primialage to Himaya Kuu (Empire Capital). The name was change by the Mansa and the Candance from it original name of sayari ya upweke (Lonely Planet).

Prince Jau finally got to the center of the ship where the ship commands where located and stood next to the captain, Saa ya Kutazama (Day Watch). Prince Jau spoke first, as the ship now in the hull of the monster starship stood silent. "I need a distraction to get the holodroid and the android. I know that all of the electrical systems are out, but we need a way to blast the escape pod out of here". Captain Saa replied, as brought up the 3d view of the area around the starship. "Here, there is a cannon tank that across the docking bay. That can be used to get the escape pod out. The commandos D10 can do!" Prince Jau, "Give the order", he stated knowing what was going to happen. Mostly likely none of them will be able to make it. The captain gave the command and in a flash and through secret escape hatches associated with the ship they were out in a blaze of glory. It was a total surprise to the thunder soldiers that we preparing to board the starship. They had to use an elevated ramp to get to the entrance so that they could get in. The distraction destroyed the ramp buying a little more time for the D10 to try to capture a tank in order to blast a hole through the huge cargo bay doors so that the pod can eject through safely. They would have to eject the pod quickly because within 10 seconds the shield would take it place.
